Brush Chipping Services That Don’t Blow (They Chip)

Say goodbye to backyard brush piles and hello to visible grass again.

We bring the muscle, the machine, and the mulch — so you can stop pretending you’ll “get to it next weekend.”

How It Started: One Branch
How it's Going: Total Mayhem

Good news — we brought the chipper.

It always starts innocently enough — a little pruning here, a few branches there — and before you know it, your yard looks like a forest exploded. Renting a chipper? Please. Those things clog faster than a cheap vacuum and make more noise than they do progress.

That’s where Chip It Guy steps in. We roll up with a 6-inch commercial-grade brush chipper that eats branches like it’s training for a wood-devouring competition. It’s hydraulically fed, fast, and efficient — no wrestling, no blisters, no “how does this thing even start?” moments.

You can keep the mulch for garden beds, trails, or compost, or we’ll haul it away for you. Either way, the brush disappears and your weekend is saved.

Fully insured. Zero rental regrets. All hero energy.

How We Price Brush Chipping Services

Our brush chipping services start at $200 + HST within our primary service area. Most jobs take under an hour — perfect for small to mid-sized, well-prepped piles.

We use a 2,000 lb commercial-grade Vermeer chipper that chews through branches up to 6 inches thick like it’s its job (because it is). It stays parked on the driveway or curb — which is why front-yard access keeps things quick and affordable.

For the best price, stack branches with the cut ends facing the road or driveway. That saves us from dragging, you from paying extra, and keeps things running smooth.

Not sure how big your pile is? Think minivan-sized — the outside, not the trunk. That’s roughly 15 cubic yards of brush.Got more than that? No problem — we’ll still chip it, but you’ll need a custom estimate so we can give you the best rate for your setup.

It’s oddly satisfying — and a lot less painful than renting one yourself.

ONE BRANCH. ONE CHIPPER. ZERO STRUGGLE.

Branches in. Wood chips out. This is how brush chipping is supposed to look — clean, fast, and way more fun to watch than wrestling with a rental chipper.

Got Brush Chipping Questions?

Quick answers to what we chip, how we chip, and how to keep your cost down.

Will you do brush chipping jobs that take longer than an hour?

Yes, we do larger jobs — but they’ll need a custom estimate. Most residential piles fit into our 30- or 60-minute packages, but if your property looks more like a forest floor, we’ll quote based on pile size, access, and prep.

We can, but front-yard access keeps costs lower. Our chipper weighs about 2,000 lbs and stays curbside, so backyard piles mean extra time and labour to drag branches out — and that adds to the cost. If possible, move them near the road or driveway with cut ends facing one direction for the best price.

Yes, as long as the ground is dry and solid. For rural or farm properties, we can bring an ATV to tow the chipper around level terrain to multiple piles — this can only be done if you are planning to keep the chips and have them blown near where your brush pile is located. It will also require a minimum 4 foot wide access and favourable terrain and ground conditions.

Think minivan-sized — and we mean the outside, not the trunk. A pile about the size of a minivan (exterior dimensions) is roughly 15 cubic yards of brush. That’s what we can usually chip in about 30 minutes if it’s well-prepped and accessible.

No, but we can help you get them. We use ChipDrop.com to drop wood chips between jobs, so if you’d like free mulch, sign up there — we might just be working nearby.

No need to cut them down — longer branches are better. Our commercial-grade chipper is hydraulically fed and actually works faster with full-length branches. Avoid cutting them into short pieces, and just stack them with cut ends facing one way. Learn more about branch prep.

Sometimes — it depends how old and brittle the pile is. Fresh brush chips cleanly, but older piles can crumble apart as we feed them in, slowing the process. Some are just too far gone to chip efficiently (or safely).

Prep, access, and pile size are everything. Well-stacked piles near the driveway take less time, which keeps your cost down. Backyard dragging, tangled branches, or hidden surprises like rocks or roots can add extra time (and cost).

Just wanted to give a big shoutout to Dion who helped us out today. He showed up early (which is rare these days!), was super professional, and absolutely crushed it — literally and figuratively. 😄
He took care of a huge pile of debris and had it chipped and cleaned up in under 30 minutes. I was really impressed by how fast and efficient he was. If you’ve got branches, brush, or yard waste piling up, I’d highly recommend reaching out to him.
